Not your typical Montana Wedding | Ting Montana Wedding

When you think of a Montana wedding, what typically comes to mind? Barns and western themes? Maybe mountains and big sky views? What you don’t typically see is a venue that should be set in a European village somewhere. That is exactly what this wedding was like. They wanted anything but a typical Montana wedding. We even went more urban for their engagement session the year before.

It was a hot July day, but it didn’t matter. The Montana weather didn’t let us down and it rained towards the end cooling it down for a great evening of dancing and fun. Oh and rainbows.

Elena & Ramon

We met and bonded by dancing. Co-teaching with each other and facing many challenges, our friendship grew more and more into a deeper connection. Once we discovered our true feelings for each other, there was no going back. After a baby and working on becoming a closer family, Ramon proposed on Elena's 31st birthday on the top of Mt. Helena. It was a perfect day for a hike and Elena did not want to go on a hike due to sleeping in. However, Ramon did not accept that answer and strongly encouraged Elena and their son to hike to the top of Mt. Helena. Although, Elena knew a proposal would be coming, she didn't think it would be on that special day. This wedding day has been long-awaited by many and we are truly thankful for the special people we get to share it with.
